Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes from Seinfeld season four. She was a chef named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. In the early 1990s she was a regular member of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's wife in Friends' initial episode. Jane Sibbett was her replacement following Barone's departure from Friends in pursuit of a new role that demanded additional time. Barone was a guest on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the first season (from 1995 to 1996) as well as on The War at Home between 2005 between 2005 and the year 2007. Barone co-starred alongside Daddio in 2000. Barone is also famous for her TV roles on Desperate Homewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone won the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role in the show One Last Ride. Barone started her role as the mother of Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - - three years after The War at Home concluded its run. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones, the former husband of the character played by Barone on two of the episodes.
