Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television series. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and were granted the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. She was raised by two sisters living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's television career started with several National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for the Best Actress award at one of the festival. The roles she played on television includes How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she appeared as the part of a side character on Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an uninvolved comedian as a stand-up comedian in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was played by General Hospital. General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that was telecast on primetime television. Season two of Night Shift saw Ghanizada playing Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada starred as Kelly, a Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage from 2009.
