Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in each fight. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving an ominous mark on her records as an amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a pro. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won the following match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - hit her for the TKO victory in the second round. She maintained her dominance as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the first round she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In a recent replacement match to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
