Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English performer and song writer who goes by the name Jessie J. Jessie's unconventional style of music that fuses soul vocals as well as electropop, pop and hip-hop has brought her recognition at a young age. In addition to her many awards, she has been nominated for the "Critics Choice Brit Award" as well as the BBC's Sound of 2011". Her professional career began when she was 11 years old in 2002 when Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her in the musical Whistle Down the Wind. Then, she was a part of the 'National Youth Musical Theater which was also in the show The Late Sleepers that premiered in 2002. Her debut album "Who You Are" was released in February 2011. It was her biggest hit that year. It became a massive success immediately. In the first week, 105,000 copies were sold in the UK and 34,000 across the US.
