Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9, 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her grandmother was living in slums with her biological parents until 3 years of age. Then she was adopted. The family she adopted is by one Filipino adoptive mother as well as an white American army veteran. The woman claims her adoptive brother and she were abused from when she was a child until she enlisted. After a brief stay in San Francisco, her family moved to Texas to help her father undergo a bypass procedure. Although the physical violence subsided however, she claimed to have still suffered psychological assault from her father in the home. After 18 years of her life, she enlisted with the United States Navy. Poarch launched her TikTok page in April of 2020. Within less than eight months, she'd amassed more than 40 million users.
